Kansas City residents: Sec. 50-172. Solicitation prohibited. No person shall solicit anything or any action from any person at property designated by a sign, conspicuously posted at the front door of the property, indicating "No Solicitation," "No Solicitors" or other similar language expressing the unwillingness of occupants of the property to accept solicitors. Call 3-1-1 if solicitors violate the ordinace. You will need the name of the company or group.

Gladstone residents: Sec. 5.160.140. Entry upon signed premises unlawful. It shall be unlawful for any person, whether licensed or unlicensed, while conducting the business of a peddler or solicitor, to enter upon any residential premises in the city where the owner, occupant or person legally in charge of the premises has posted at the entry to the premises, or at the entry to the principal building on the premises, a sign bearing the words "No Peddlers," "No Solicitors," or words of similar import. Any sign posted at the entry to the premises which is a minimum of ten square inches shall be presumed to be adequate notice to a solicitor. Call the Gladstone Public Safety Office at (816) 436-3550 to report violators. Be sure you have the name of the company or group. "No Solicitation" stickers for your front door are available free of charge at the Gladstone City Hall, 70th and N. Holmes.
