The Oaks Home Safety Tips
According to police, cars parked on the street are broken into more than cars parked in the driveway. Motion detector lights on your driveway are a good theft deterrent. Lock cars kept outside and keep valuables out of sight. Keep garage doors closed. Gladstone police will do a vacation check — call and request them to do so. Have neighbors keep an eye out for your home and you do the same for theirs. Stop mail and paper delivery when away.
Driving
Cars on 53rd St. have to yield to cars on Pennsylvania. Through streets have the right-of-way. When turning, turn into your proper lane.
