Purpose

To approve any structure or improvement to be built, altered or placed on any Lot in the Oaks subdivision.

Membership

The committee shall be composed of three individuals selected and approved by the Oaks Board of Directors. Any two members shall have full power to act for the Committee. One of the members shall be a current member of the Oaks Board of Directors.

Authority

The Oaks Board of Directors stipulated (meeting of June 7, 2011) that in case there is not unanimous agreement on a project, the final decision will rest with the Board of Directors.

Submission Requirements

  1. Location in respect to current home
  2. Elevations: front, side and back
  3. Type of material
  4. Color
  5. Dimensions
  6. Neighbors on either side of your home are informed
Important Notes
  • City permits are required for decks, driveways that extend to the street, roofs and any out buildings (sheds).
  • If you do not get approval, you run the risk of having to redo the project in order to meet the Oaks standards.
  • Please allow 5 days from the date we receive the completed form for the committee to make a determination. If you need something approved quicker just let us know and we will try to accommodate.
